- review all initiatives and projects for updates
- review reference sections of initiatives and projects for new information
- conduct new searches for information in the literature
- scour granting agencies for announcements of relevant grants/projects

As of December 2004 this remains primarily the domain of the Trinity College and Villanova University partners
- complete functional scripts for data collection/importation via email extraction for four major vendors for prototype testing
- prioritize vendors for data collection scripts
- write scripts for various vendors and products according to prioritized list
- establish data collection interface in response to script development
- review option of providing data collection service (highly dependent on funding or business model)
