Slade's Music (a.k.a. Soundshack Recordings)

Burning Babylon

Click here to go to the Official Burning Babylon Web site to listen to tons of tracks, check out the reviews, and learn where to purchase (though you can always Contact Us and we'll get you one direct!).
Stereo Mash Up
Relased in 2005, the 5th album is keeping the dub alive! Click here to go to the Official Burning Babylon Web site.

Knives to the Treble
"Knives" is the 4th and latest Burning Babylon CD. Here more tracks at the Burning Babylon Web site.
Superworld
Slade got hit with the Brazilian thing this year and also got sucked into the whole trip-hop, dance thing by Thievery Corporation among others. Superworld is Slade's foray into the "dance" scene with a distinctly international flavor. Not a full CD of tracks just yet, but let us know if you want to be advised when the tracks hit the streets. Email us at cheesetoasters@yahoo.com or Contact Us through this Web site.
Beefy DC
The notorious AC/DC cover band of New England! Dedicated fans, outstanding reviews, irrepressible humor, and rockin', rockin' tunes!!! Click here to check out the full site of Beefy DC photos and nonsense. Slade plays bass along with longtime compatriot Bill Close (also with Slade in The Vicelords, The Peasants, The Freeze, Apunkalypse Now ...), Craig Adams (currently of The Dents, Bipoloar Coaster, and also of The Vicelords and The Freeze), Phil Derboghosian (also in The Vicelords, and occasionally The Peasants), Pete Cassani (long time bandleader of The Peasants), and Ray Needes (and solo act in his own right) as the unduplicable front man! Click the CD cover to the right for a closer view of the photos.
The Vicelords
This is the rock 'n roll masterpiece of the infamous Bill Close (one of Slade's oldest buddies and bandmate with him also in Beefy DC, The Freeze, and Apunkalypse Now). In addition to Bill, the band features Slade, Craig Adams (also from The Freeze days), and the irrepressible drumming of Phil Derbeghosian (also of Beefy DC fame). No links as of yet, but if you're interested, we can get a CD or video out to ya. Just email us at cheesetoasters@yahoo.com.
